Experience the pinnacle of cannabis cultivation with our cutting-edge Drybox technology, meticulously engineered to preserve the potency, aroma, and flavor of your harvest. Designed for discerning growers who demand excellence, our innovative system provides a precise and controlled environment for the drying process .
If you are an operator that believes there is benefit in slowing the dry down, Drybox is for you. Many feel that there is a noticeable improvement in the quality of product that undergoes a slower drying process. And it’s the same every time.
Drybox functions on Temperature and Relative Humidity. It uses refrigeration-based technology, the same as small de-humidifiers, but will maintain incredible control due to the variable capacity of the system. It has a touch screen controller that allows the operator to set a degree Fahrenheit Dry Bulb (°F DB) Temperature that Drybox will maintain throughout the process, and then a desired Percent Relative Humidity (% RH) end/hold point. Drybox technology has two distinct drying processes, steady state and ramp.
Steady State: A single °F/%RH set-point that will dry the product as fast as possible at a constant temperature, and then stop the dry at a chosen end %RH set-point. During the initial high RH, Drybox responds with the maximum water absorption possible. Up to 6 ounces of water per hour for our single door box. As the RH reduces, so does the gobbling of moisture. Upon reaching set-point conditions, the conditions will gently be met and then held from dropping below the set-point.
Ramp: A program feature that allows the operator to conduct a “ramp”. Using the “Ramp” function an operator can load the box with fresh trimmed flower, enter the number of hours to reach desired ending %RH condition (up to 120 hours or 5 days), enter the desired °F temperature to operate at, then enter the end/hold Relative Humidity set-point desired (68°F/60%RH for example). With the box at condition, touch the start program icon on the touchscreen controller. Drybox will do the rest. The ramp program will go through an “Observation” period where it determines how heavily the box is loaded, then start a ramp towards the entered %RH end/hold point. Drybox will then hold that condition until ready for removal.
Drybox controller allows an operator to see immediately what is happening in the dry room on our touchscreen controller.
We have built several single door units and one double door unit that potential customers can test before purchasing our technology. The single door unit has ten removable trays spaced 4” apart and is designed for batch drying one to ten ish pounds of fresh Cannabis flower. The double door unit has two 24” diameter hanging nets with 6 trays on each, and rods that can be used to support typical open netting for branch hanging. If one of these units proves valuable to your operation, we can build you one just like it or choose from available options to customize your box. If you are a grower that uses a typical 20 tray portable bakers pan cart for instance, we can build you a unit that you can simply roll the cart into. Or build you a larger room for multiple carts. These small 1 and 2 door boxes are outfitted with smooth rolling casters, an 6’ appliance cord and will fit through a standard 3’-0” doorway. Drybox does not need an external water connection or floor drain. Standard specifications are aluminum interior and steel exterior. Galvalume painted steel sheet is standard exterior finish. Various exterior colors at additional cost. Auxiliary airflow fan, humidifier and heaters are plug and play replaceable.
After getting some information from you about your operation we should be able to assist.
